Our Urban Forest Speaker Series, Part 3

Sustaining Our Urban Forest:
Starting a Neighbourhood Forest Stewardship Progrm
Peterborough Public Library, April 2nd, 7 to 9PM.

The urban forest is often the only day-to-day interface between 80% of Canadians and their natural environment. This means trees in the city are more important than ever. So, how will you help Peterborough manage its greenspaces into the future?

Dr. Andrew Kenney, University of Toronto, Faculty of Forestry, will discuss how we can sustain our urban forest through neighbourhood stewardship programs.

The evening is sponsored by The Peterborough Field Naturalists, and will include a panel discussion among the guest speaker, local experts and the audience.
